Lena is a single mother with a young kid who wants to get back into dating after a scarring past relationship. As a folk singer and guitar tutor, with no child maintenance from her ex, Lena is struggling financially, and her mum has just cancelled on her for babysitting. About to call off her online date, Lena finds her four-year-old son hiding in a suitcase, giving her an idea. She will him with her, hidden in her luggage! Hopefully her date won't notice?

Take Me explores the difficulties of single parenting, especially for low income families. With a positive spin on online dating, it’s about man ready to grow up, and tale of real, live, emotional baggage.
